Infant Massage

Inspired by the founder of Moms For Milk, Naznin Hebert, who also offered this activity, we are offering an infant massage class (trained by the International Association of Infant Massage).

How does it work? You come with or without your partner to our relaxing & understanding group session on Mondays for 5 weeks. You’ll have the pleasure of bonding with your baby as you practice infant massage on your own infant. This class helps communication between baby and parent. Through nurturing touch, baby will feel comforted, loved and relieved from discomfort caused by gas, constipation, colic, teething and congestion.

You can read more about the benefits on this link:

You’ll also have the opportunity to break isolation and meet other families! We will facilitate a discussion topic each week to allow parents to chat together and learn from one another. This is an activity that many families appreciate and we think you will too!

Location:

415 Mercille Ave. Saint-Lambert (QC)
Main floor in room “Happy Children’s Place”

The infant baby massage classes take place in Saint-Lambert, agglomeration of Longueuil
South shore of Montreal (Montérégie)

Amanda Julia Rylander

Mother of two and the director La mère à boire - Moms For Milk. I'm half Spanish, I studied Early Childhood and Elementary Education. And used to be a nanny for newborns, teach in daycares and used to teach in elementary schools!

My interests in early childhood expanded into pregnancy and breastfeeding. I was lucky to find La mère à boire - Moms For Milk, where I had my own support mom. I soon became a breastfeeding support mom, and now I'm the director!

I am very happy to be offering this wonderful experience to families. This class is a wonderful place for babies to feel close, safe, loves and connected to their parent(s)! The relaxing, nurturing touch calms and reassures your baby.

The benefits are wonderful for baby, but did you know that this class it just as wonderful for the parents who participate? I love creating a safe and respectful environment for parents to discuss different topics related to babies and parenting. The discussion period is a rich part of the class, parents can exchange experiences and tips with one another, all while building new friendships!

You'll likely find that after this 5-week session, you may have more confidence as a parent, feel closer than ever to your baby and have new friends!

I look forward to meeting you and your baby!
